This is dd2 after our trip to the Dr.'s today. On Sunday afternoon, dh was carrying her on his back and dd4 got in the way and in an effort to not plow into the 2yo he chucked the 8yo of his back and dove over the 2yo. When dd2 went flying, she landed wrong on her foot and was crying and couldn't walk. Well, being the caring mom that I am, I waited to call the Dr. until Monday afternoon at 3pm when I was finally tired of hearing how much it hurt! Of course, they couldn't get her in and we had to wait until this morning. While we are at the clinic, the power went out. Not just at the clinic but the whole west side of our town. They went ahead and looked at her foot and said that she 'probably' did not break it. There was no bruising and only a little swelling. However, she has never bruised with any of her broken bones. So, he told her to wear her sneakers for support and to walk normally on it. After about 2 hours of walking, having shoes on and crying the whole time, she fell asleep on the couch.
I think I might have to take her for an xray tomorrow. Maybe?!
