We are technically done with the year but since we go year round and the older girls aren't done with their assignments we will keep going. It is a much lighter schedule, mind you, but we are going to finish.
Now, I'm not one to make them complete every page in every book...anymore...but there are some things that have to be completed. My Freshman has to complete her studies to get the credits and my 8th grader has to complete Science and Math to graduate 8th grade. Those are non-negotiables. You can't advance into high school w/o completing your 8th grade work.
Yes, it's just my opinion but it is common sense isn't it?
anyway...
We are taking school slowly now and focusing on the few subjects they need to work on. The goal is to have them done by vacation but that might not happen. It's a good thing we have until June 30th to complete the year!

That's EXACTLY where we are at with school too. Done...sort of. I can totally relate.
