How long will it be dark?
The picture for the day was easy to choose. It was the one thing I looked at more than any other thing today. Our power went out at about 8:30 this morning and didn't come back on until after 1 in the afternoon. We had the dining room light on so we would know when the power was back on and I kept looking at it every few minutes!
It's pretty. But it is prettier when it lights up when it is supposed to! :)

I'm waiting to be in the dark. We have a "wind advisory" tonight. Since we are SO in the country, we typically do loose power. Thankfully we have a wood stove & a generator if we need it. Still not much fun at night.
It always seems worse to be without power at night! I hope you don't lose yours and if you do, maybe you won't notice too much and can sleep through most of it. :)
