We started 'school' on Monday the 4th. It went really well the first two days and then I got sick and well, it didn't go so well after that!
I spent most of Wednesday in bed and Thursday we went to the Library sale.
Now, we are getting ready for 'real' school starting on Monday the 11th. That is the day we start Tapestry of Grace.
I am both excited and nervous. I am excited because I LOVE Tapestry of Grace. It is a good fit for our family and it is wonderfully written.
I am nervous because I am not sure how we will get it all done. We are not terribly good on following through and finishing what we start. It is a failing that I am afraid started with me. I would love to train it out of the girls, I am just not doing a very good job of it.
This year will be the first year that we have a real schedule that will take most of the day. I am not looking forward to that; however, I am so looking forward to learning all about the 20th Century with the girls. There is so much to discover and Tapestry will help us do that.
I am hoping and praying that we will transition smoothly and the the girls will have so much fun learning that they won't notice the 'stricter' schedule!
