It is really too bad that this day gets a bad rap. What did it ever do to us? Aren't we the ones who wait to do our taxes until it is almost too late and then frantically look for a post office that doesn't have a line a mile long?
Maybe we put it off because we owe a good deal of money. Maybe it is because we are really just lazy and keep forgetting to do it. (not that I am describing myself or anything) Maybe we are just rebelling against the government in our own small way.
Whatever the reason, let us again rejoice in the day of April 15th and criticize it no longer!

Mine are done, refund received and spent (easy to do when you're building - it went to pay subcontractors).
My SON is the last minute taxpayer, but from the questions he is asking his dad, he is obviously finished with his federal and is onto his state. He's doing it online - I keep chiming the minutes.
