Friday's Fave Five

Well, I decided to try and participate in a Meme. Yeah, I know...but I think I really need to do this one. It is called Friday's Fave Five and you are supposed to look back on your week and pick the Five Favorite things of the week. After this week, I could use a little blessing counting!

So here goes.

My Friday Fave Five are:
(in no particular order!)

1.  Getting together with the moms from our homeschool group to scrapbook our yearbook.  They are such a wonderful group of ladies and they are so encouraging and supportive.  Of course, they make me laugh so hard!  But the biggest perk is that they put up with me.  :-D

2.  I am loving that my oldest dd sounds so much like me on the phone that she has fooled her father, her aunt, and our homeschool group leader.  She answers the phone and they start talking to her like she is me...could get us into trouble some day but for now it is too funny!

3.  My two youngest dd's have spent countless hours this week making up dances and plays to put on for our family night tonight.  They have been so secretive about it, stopping when we come in the room!  I can't wait to see what they have come up with.

4.  My second born went to her first Middle School event this week.  ugh  Not sure if I like that yet, but she was beaming!

5.  That my second born loves to cook.  She is making breakfast as we speak.  But her favorite thing to make is dessert!!!  Can you just hear me squealing with delight?  She loves to make anything with chocolate in it...of course that would make me happy...duh!  ;-)

So that is my list, what's yours?  If you want to read more Friday Fave Five lists head on over here.

Oh, I’m feeling even more guilty now that I didn’t scrapbook this week like I had planned. :-) Maybe next week. Glad you had a great time.
Sounds like you’re in for a real treat when you get to see the dances/plays from your dd’s. Fun times! Have a great weekend.

Glad you decided to join FFF. It's one of those memes that really can turn around my attitude to a better one.

Sounds like you are really enjoying watching your kids grow and learn new things. That's great she likes to cook - especially desserts!

So let me see if I counted right you have 4 daughters? I wouldn't mind someone who likes to cook to mess around in my kitchen! Enjoy. Sounds like you will be entertained at family night...enjoy!

Ellen, Yes we have four daughters. Sometimes it seems like more, though!

I know how you feel about the second born going to a middle school event. My fourth and youngest just hit those years. Urgh! Not ready! He's still supposed to be in diapers!

Yours sounds like SUCH a fun bunch! Have fun together tonight.

I know what you mean about the middle schooler...but mine just graduated from high school, and I'm dealing with that.

Glad you joined in! Have a great week ahead.

A baking daughter. I would love that, especially seeing as I'm not a baker myself. But I do love to eat it! LOL.

The secretive dance plans made me smile and brought back lots of memories.

Thanks for joining in this week! Hope to see you again at FFF!

Welcome to FFF! I love doing this meme each week. It makes me much more observant of God's blessings during the week.

I homeschooled too. But all my kids are grown. Now I teach homeschool kids to write.

Hi Renita -

Well - we met on the TOG Loose Threads group, got to know each other bettter on FB, and now here we are as crew mates for the TOS third voyage.

I like your blog. This entry caught my eye because I'm new to blogging and wanted to try a meme. Is it hard? What exactly do you do, after you create your post, to participate in the meme?

Loretta! I didn't realize you were on the Crew as well! That is wonderful. Have you done it before or is this your first year?

Thank you on the blog-it's a work in progress. ;-) Meme's aren't hard, at least this one isn't. I went to her blog, read about it, wrote my post and then followed her link to the Mr. Linky. I put in my name and blog address and that was it! I think I should have put her name in my post and will do that next time.

If that doesn't make any sense let me know and I will try again!
