Stretching and Growing

My second born dd is a natural actress.  She has always been able to act out different characters and light up the room.  It is such a joy to see her performing on stage.  Her face lights up and you can see the joy she feels when she performs. 

She has been in several productions and done ballet, tap, and jazz.  She is a natural performer.  Well, it has been a while since she has done theatre and she was getting the itch.  ;-)  She decided to audition for a local theatre company and the auditions were this afternoon.

She was a nervous wreck.  Auditions bite no matter who you are but when you are 12 and unsure, they are even worse.  She practiced hard and was well prepared.

So what's the problem?  It was an audition, need I say more? lol

From what I heard through the walls she did fine!  She didn't do her actions during her song but it sounded good.  Her acting audition went great and the choreography audition was awesome.  I am so proud of her.  She overcame her fear and put herself out there.  Whether she gets a part of not doesn't matter.  She did it and I am so proud.

I can't wait to see her up there performing again.  I know that God has given her this talent and I am thrilled to see her using it again.
