Ministry Opportunities

Monday was our off day from our homeschool group but instead of a day off we met for a ministry opportunity.  Our group was asked to fill dental hygiene kits for underprivileged kids.  We had to fill zip-locs with a toothbrush, dental floss, and toothpaste.  It was a pretty simple job.

We started out setting up stations so we could get as many done as possible.

We had quite a few of our families show up and we were able to fill 3,000 baggies in just over 30 minutes!  It was amazing.  Even our youngest kiddos were able to participate. 

We ended up sending a mom to the store for more baggies and we filled the next 1,000 in nothing flat.  We ended the morning filling just over 4,000 bags for this ministry. 

I love being able to serve with the other families in our group, but more than that I love being able to serve with my children.

P.S. Robin, my sister was able to be there with us and helped out immensely.  :)
