She was so excited to have a card with her name on it. She stood there while they processed the number and giggled the whole time. She listened very solemnly to the instructions from the librarian and picked up her card like it was the Golden Ticket!!
She was just too sweet for words. She held my hand as we were walking to the car and said that getting her Library Card was just about the best thing ever! lol A girl after my own heart.
Then, reality hit me like a sack of books. One more card to keep track of means one more card that can rack up fines.
What was I thinking? Oh yeah, those big blue eyes!!

So cute! And that's why I've never let my kids actually USE their library cards, lol. One is more than I can handle already.
