UGH...

We have strep in our house. GRRR

On Tuesday morning our oldest noticed a 'pimple' on our 6yodd forehead. I didn't think too much of it until a little later, she had some on the side of her face.

I still didn't think too much of it.

THEN, around 1:30pm, during lunch I noticed that she was acting a little punky. She didn't want to eat. We were eating Pizza Hut pizza. Now, I knew that something was up because she loves pizza.

After lunch I had her come over to me and she was BLAZING HOT. I took her temp and it was 102.6*. ugh

I was on my way to the osteopath and my mom was watching the girls. As I was leaving, mom was giving the motrin.

Later that evening, around bedtime, she developed a terrible headache. That worried me a little. Her fever wasn't really dropping like I wanted it to.

I called the Dr. and he told us to give motrin and benadryll, wait a few days and see how it goes.

By morning, her throat was *very* sore. I knew that we needed to get to the doctor.

They got us in very quickly and he told us it was Strep. grr

She is still not feeling well. Her fever keeps coming back up when the motrin wears off and her head still hurts.

Hopefully, she will start feeling better tomorrow and no one else will get sick. :}
